Terms of Service
Last updated March 1, 2026 · Effective March 1, 2026
These Terms govern your use of pupscoops.com and your subscription to Pup Scoops dog waste removal services. By booking service or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. We keep things simple — no surprises, no fine-print traps.
1. Services
Pup Scoops provides scheduled dog waste removal at residential properties. Services include:
- Removal and disposal of dog waste from your yard or designated area
- Kennel-grade disinfection of tools and footwear between every property
- Gate photo confirmation sent by text after each visit
- Arrival and completion text notifications
- Optional deodorizer application (one session per month included free; additional sessions billed separately)
2. Service area
We currently serve residential properties in Beaumont, Banning, Cherry Valley, Yucaipa, Calimesa, and Redlands, CA. We reserve the right to decline service outside our coverage area.
3. Access to your yard
By signing up, you grant Pup Scoops permission to access the designated area of your property on scheduled service days. You are responsible for:
- Ensuring safe, clear gate access on service days — unlocked gate, no aggressive animals loose in the service area
- Notifying us in advance if your dog will be present during the visit
- Informing us of any hazards, obstacles, or changes to your property
- Notifying us promptly of any change in the number of pets
If access is blocked and you are not home, we will make a reasonable attempt to contact you. If we cannot complete service due to access issues and a reschedule cannot be accommodated, you remain responsible for payment of that visit. Waste accumulation from a skipped or inaccessible visit may result in a cleanup surcharge at the next service.
4. Waste disposal policy
Residential: Customers must provide a designated trash space (bin, dumpster, or compost area) for pet waste. Our team securely bags all waste and places it in the designated space. Commercial or special circumstances: where a designated trash space is unavailable, we offer removal through local facilities; additional fees may apply based on volume and frequency. All waste is disposed of responsibly and in compliance with local regulations.
5. Rescheduling & missed cleanups
Customer-initiated skips: a skipped visit is forfeited for the billing cycle; if waste accumulates as a result, a cleanup surcharge applies at the next service and is shown transparently on your invoice. Missed on our end: we reschedule at no charge, or credit the visit to your next invoice if we can’t reschedule within the cycle. Credit adjustments: when a credit is issued, we may adjust service to the next tier down for that cycle to reflect visits completed.
6. Weather policy
Hazardous weather may delay or prevent service. Affected cleanups are rescheduled whenever possible, or credited to your next invoice if a reschedule can’t be arranged within the billing cycle. We’ll notify you promptly if your visit is impacted.
7. Billing & payments
Service is billed monthly, due at or before the first completed visit of each month unless otherwise specified — you are never charged before a visit occurs. A one-time first-visit cleanup fee may apply based on time since your yard was last cleaned, disclosed at booking. If service is paused more than 15 consecutive days, a $25 cleanup fee may apply on resumption. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover through our secure Jobber client portal; a card on file is required to begin. Extra dogs, large yards, and certain add-ons incur additional charges disclosed at booking.
8. Unpaid balances
Balances are due at or before the first cleanup of each month. Visits that occurred while a balance was unpaid remain your responsibility; pausing does not waive charges already incurred. Past-due accounts follow this schedule:
- 14 days: service paused
- 30 days: account suspended until the full balance is paid
- 45 days: referred to collections
- 60 days: one-time 20% late fee added
- 90+ days: additional 15% fee every 30 days until paid in full
We always attempt to reach you before escalating. If you’re having trouble paying, please contact us — we’d rather find a solution.
9. Cancellation & pausing
No contracts, no lock-ins — cancel or pause anytime with no cancellation fees. Either party may terminate at any time. Please submit cancellations or pauses through your Jobber portal or by contacting us at least 48 hours before your next visit. If service is paused longer than 30 days and the yard is unkept on resumption, a new initial cleanup fee may be assessed. Completed visits within the current cycle will be invoiced.
10. Satisfaction guarantee
If you’re not satisfied with a visit, contact us within 24 hours and we’ll return to re-scoop at no charge. We do not issue refunds for completed visits except at our sole discretion.
11. Liability
We take reasonable care when accessing your property. Pup Scoops is not responsible for:
- Damage to yards, gates, pets, or other property
- Pre-existing damage to gates, fences, landscaping, or structures
- Damage caused by conditions you failed to disclose
- Injury to or caused by animals loose in the service area during our visit
- Acts of nature, weather events, or conditions beyond our control
Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific visit in question.
12. Photography
As part of our service, we photograph your gate at the close of each visit for confirmation. By using our services, you consent to this practice. Photos depict only the exterior gate area and are never shared publicly.
13. Holidays — no service
We do not provide service on the following dates. Visits falling on these days are rescheduled whenever possible; otherwise the visit is credited to your next invoice.
14. Intellectual property
All content on pupscoops.com — including the Pup Scoops name, logo, website design, and written content — is the property of Pup Scoops and may not be reproduced without written permission.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Riverside County, California.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Active clients are notified of material changes by email or text. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
